ARAZO is a brand new, mediterranean themed restaurant, with a focus on good food, good drink and good company. ARAZO is the verb of Aragma…a Greek slang term used mostly in Athens. It means “to chill or kill time” but the kind of killing time that you do with friends or family at a coffee shop/bar or at the beach. This is exactly the kind of atmosphere the team at ARAZO aims for.
Such a striking branding project this one, I absolutely love pairing creative design with the hospitality industry. The overall brand we’ve developed is super bold and super consistent across all deliverables. The logo itself is a simple word mark, which allows the eye-catching pattern to be a real stand out element. The pattern reflects the mediterranean theme and has been stylised off an interior wall inside the restaurant which ties everything together. The colour palette is bright & bold to give the restaurant that “familiar but fancy, comfortable but cool” feel to it.
